Travelling to Thailand from U.S. June 2014-Flight question
Hey there!
My friend and I are traveling from the States this mid-June to Thailand. I understand this is not necessarily 'high season' in Thailand and I am wondering how far in advance I should consider booking planes tickets? What I should consider a good price? Right now the tickets that would accommodate our travel dates are starting around $1650 and upwards. Should I consider this as a deal, or shall I wait until the date gets a little closer, or am I running the risk of prices going up even more? I appreciate any advice you got! Thanks! |
Where are you flying from in the US?
|
from where??
that is high.. I live in boston and find prices are usually $1000-1450. try Korean air, ANA, delta/united/American, finn, UAE carriers... |
hotel prices are very low in june...
|
We would be flying out of Minneapolis (MSP)
|
so delta is the obvious, but I would look at what Chicago might offer with international airlines
|
If you fly out of Chicago try Cathay Pacific. They just started flying out of Chicago within the last year or so. We got an email the other day announcing a 30percent off deal. Did not look into it since we aren't going anywhere soon. They have a great schedule - we flew ORD-HKK-BKK about 10 days ago. Planes and service fab.

So...back to what I was getting at...what should I consider a good deal on flight? We will fly out of Msp no matter what.
