Travel to Bangkok

Hi, I wanna ask if the immigration will still allow me to enter thailand if my return ticket was dated more than the allowable stay in thailand? Does it matter? or is it ok then I will just get visa extension when i get there? Thanks

I have had to show my return ticket when traveling on a one way award ticket. They may question you.

And, when asked, you should be able to tell them what your travel plan is. If you are planning on staying in Thailand for more than a month, get a visa in advance.
