Can anyone recommend a good travel guidebook for South Korea?

Have you rang the Korea Tourism Commission? I rang them for my Korea trip and it was really helpful. It could be a good start. Sorry, I don't have the number on me though.

The Lonely Planet guidebook on Korea is a terrific guide - lots of reasonably price accom. places to eat and where to go etc. have a great time. we used it over dec. jan 2000. Sokcho and Mt. Soraksan national park are beautiful spots. Pusan is a large industrial city but has an amazing fish market - worth seeing.

definitely write to the Tourist Board.<BR>I received a package of material within a week - lots of maps, an update-to-date guidebook, etc.
