Transport to the Floating Market in Thailand

Can anyone suggest a way to arrange transport to the floating market outside of Bangkok? I know they have trips that include a show and shopping and a rose garden etc. but I am basically looking for transport just for the floating market. Is it possible to just negotiate with a taxi driver? I Would like to save some money.

Try Ratt who is a driver. Many on this board have used her.

What about just getting a taxi driver?

yes a taxi driver would be fine, if he knows where it is and how to navigate around .....ratt is really good and not too expensive....225B/hour plus 1B per kilometer... trip requires at least 1/2 day to do
