Train seats
Can anyone explain the difference between all the classes of train seats on Indian railways? I've seen First AC, Sleeper, Second AC, etc and I'm still confused! We're interested in overnighting on a train at least once in a fairly comfortable environment, so any suggestions would be welcome.

they all have TONS of roaches and they all stink so it really dosen't matter--first class is less crowded

The AC stands for air-conditioning. Depending on where and what time you are travelling, you may want this whether you go first or second class. If you are going overnight, you will want a sleeper, and I would suggest first class if it is in your budget.
