Touristic places in India you wouldn't like to visit

There are so many places in India worth visiting, but recently I've come upon this post http://www.indiapalette.com/forums/t...ia-dhobi-ghat/ , where the author explains why she wouldn't visit Dhobi Ghat, one of the touristic must see places in Mumbai. For me,I guess, the beaches of Goa would be such a place, mainly because of the unwanted attention of some of the local men. And what place you wouldn't visit in India, in spite of all the recommendations?

I believe Dhobi Ghat isn't a complete NO-NO as it is fun to watch how people wash the huge bundles of clothes. And even the beaches of Goa are a fun too but yes local men stare at you as if you are some new creature to this earth. In India,I hate Uttar Pradesh the most because neither the people nor the state is worth any good. The place is basically a men-dominating place so I dislike it.

No. it is not true.i like to go India..It's true that India is overcrowded and the traffic sucks big time but India is known for its heritage and its ancient and cultured civilization.Well, not all places are dirty,India is huge, the seventh largest country in the world and some states are poorer than others.I must tell you that each state is different from the other in terms of language, culture, values and people. It's as if India is a continent made up of different countries, who wouldn't love to explore such diversity.
Dude, there is a lot to see in India and I'm not talking about the Taj Mahal,it's just a glimpse of India's beauty but it's just one of the many wonders that this country holds.
As an Indian I have to tell you that even I don't know much about India, there is a lot to explore and see out there and doing so would take a lifetime. From mountains to beaches, there is almost everything that you would love to see,all in just one country.
So my question to you is why wouldn't you visit India? How can you drop the idea of discovering such a rich history and exploring the geographical and architectural wonders?

Dhobi Ghat is the world's largest open air laundry. which is not a great place to visit but it's a great place for tourist attraction where most of tourist visit and experience this amazing laundry service. where hundreds of people works.
Really it's dirty place but if you think about the struggle of this people then you realize the work and struggle of this people. this is the reason why it's a big tourist attraction in India. and in India many places are so dirty but you can also experience the life and struggle of there peoples. so i don't dislike any places in India.
India is the best and amazing country in this world where you can enjoy and experience many things and place.

I'm not saying I don't want to visit India.I want! The country has a lot to offer. It's just places, recommended by the tourist guides, are not always suitable. We should be more selective. I don't mind the dirtiness of Dhobi Ghat - that's not the issue. But there are people in this place working in miserable conditions, and tourist come there to stare at them and to take pictures. That's exactly what I don't like.
