Tour company for Guihou Monorities

Has anyone used China Highlights or Sinoway Travel/Beijing Holidays (seems to be the same representative for Sinoway Travel/Beijing Holidays) for the ethnic minority tours in Guizhou? Has anyone toured any of the following villages: Datang Miao, Geija, Paika, Basho Miao, Gaozeng Dong, or Zhaoxing Dong? I'll be traveling in March.

Hi, I have been those places. I have lots of pictures. I started my tour from Guilin-Longsheng(Terraced field)-Sanjiang(Wind and Rain Bridge)-Congjiang-Rongjiang-Leishan(Xijiang Thousands Minority)-Kaili-Guiyang. You will see those minorities on the route. I have lots of pictures. Want some?

It is very nice place and you will enjoy the minorities, wooden houses, daily life of locals. Route from Yangshuo, Rice Terraces, Sanjiang Chengyang Rain and Wind Bridge, Zhaoxing Dong village, Basha Village, Gaozeng Village, then Xijing Miao village, Kaili. It is very impressive tour in China.

If you could chose between Guizhou & Yunnan what would it be? I only ask because parts of Yunnan (Dali, Lijiang) sound a bit busy with tourists. Maybe Guizhou is overlooked.

Guizhou isn't overlooked exactly, as for a few years it has been the place to go if you think (rightly) that Dali and Lijiang have been ruined and you're an independent traveller trying to do something different.

Foreign tour groups are still rarely seen, but organised tourism is starting to bite, with Kaili in particular being 'developed', new festivals organised, and so on. But this is all still well below the levels of Yunnan's top tourism destinations by all accounts. Many independent travellers write very enthusiastically about visits to the Wind and Rain Bridges (plentiful photos visible on-line).

The second poster in this thread is a shill for one of the travel companies mentioned in the OP, and, like the third poster, regularly spams this site. It goes without saying that both should be avoided.
