Tokyo reasonable hotel
Hello,
I have a stopover in Tokyo o the way to Vietnam. I am looking fo reasonable hotel (under $200). That's May 9-11. So far I found 3* Akasaka Yoko $180 pernight incl breakfast.I also see Hilton NRT has $122 rate with free airport shuttle so maybe it makes sense to save on airport transfers but how one gets to the city? Without luggage I can take train o h Tokyo. Any other suggestions? Does anyone knows decent Ryokans in convenient location? thanks! |
OK here is an update. I founmd a good intro rates at Citadines apartments under 10000JPY. Citadines Tokyo Shinjuku 1-28-13 Shinjuku-ku
Tokyo 160 0022 Other hotels I am considering are Crowne Plaza Metropolitan www.metropolitan.jp Hyatt Regency Grand 2-7-2 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-KU Any suggestion on location on these htels? thank you! |
I've stayed at the Hyatt Regency. It's a comfortable hotel, though I don't care for its location -- it's a good 5- or 10-minutes walk to Shinjuku station.
I don't know anything about the Citadines location, but the Citadines apartment-hotel formula is terrific: lots of space for the $$$, plus kitchenette facilties. |
Yes I know Citadine are good from european experience. Can someone comment on location:
http://www.citadines.com/en/countrie...pCategory=1945 the price is unreal! JPY7619 per night intro rate. thank you! |
In Dec. 2006, I stayed 7 days at Kadoya Hotel. It's small, but clean and just 2 blocks from Shinjuku Station. Free WiFi in room.
I paid less than 10,000 yen a night. Here's the hotel website, http://www.kadoya-hotel.co.jp/eng/index.html |
