I have heard good things about Ginza Tobu, across the street from Ginza station. Someone I know stayed there. I looked into it because of that, and also because the rates are very discounted for that hotel at the Club Tocoo discount site http://www2.tocoo.jp/english/
I ultimately decided to stay somewhere else on hotel points, but I thought this place looked like a good deal w/the amenities it has and the location.

Hi! Just wondering if anyone had stayed at Sofitel Ueno? Thanks!

I haven't stayed at the sofitel yet but will be in June. It gets very good reviews & has lots of amenities. Also, if you want to be near some of the museums, etc. it is a good place to stay.

Danak-if you haven't already, you should check out the Cerulean Tower on tripadvisor.com. Apparently, people think it's a fantastic hotel, with great views, comfortable double beds, and an ideal location in Shibuya.

Danak-if you haven't already, you should really check out the Cerulean Tower Hotel reviews on tripadvisor.com-you have made a good choice. People who have stayed there are quite enthusiastic about this hotel-with great views, comfortable double beds, and an ideal location in Shibuya.
