To those who donated last year to Koh Ker School in Cambodia...
Last year a group of wonderful Fodorites got together and pledged to donate $35 a month to help out the Koh Ker School in Cambodia via www.theplf.org.
You can read about it here:
http://www.fodors.com/community/asia...elp-needed.cfm
While the medical situation has improved, the need for help at this school is still there. Perhaps more now than ever, because enrollment has increased (which is a great thing!)
Lori recently posted a Koh Ker update here:

What I had not realized was the automatic monthly donations for a year stopped in January. For some reason, I thought the donation was open-ended.
I have renewed my donation for another year, increasing it, because even though times are tough for all (including myself), life is tougher there. The medical, food, and academic help the donations provide will encourage the kids (and their parents) to keep coming to school.
So, if like me you didn't realize the donation had stopped, and want it to continue, please go to www.theplf.org to renew it. You can still only donate for 12 months at a time for recurring donations.

Just made our family's first contribution to theplf.org. Thank you to all Fodor's Forum members who brought to our attention this very worthwhile cause. We are also in the process of booking our first trip to Cambodia and plan to visit the school while we are there. We will continue to spread the word. Again, thanks all for shining a light on the good work being done by Lori, Ponheary and the rest.
