Tips on the Expo?

Hi, I'll be there in a few days. What are your tips on this? Should I get tickets ahead of time, if I can.

Remind me again, has the age for prioritized access for the elderly been raised to 80?

There are five areas A-E. How would you prioritize?

Thanks!

Where can I find a PDF map? I've found something here:

In case this is of interest to anyone visiting the Expo....

(1) Long lines everywhere, but apparently much shorter than they were before.

(2) Canadians and Brits have priority access to their national pavilions. No such policy for US.

(3) 75 and older for priority access for most, but in some rare cases, it was 70 and older.

(4) Saudi Arabia had a long wait (I think it was 4 hours or something).

(5) Chinese pavilion is impossible. It's by timed visits only. 30,000 tickets each day, and I was told that people start to queue at 4 am.

Over 1.5 days, I went to the national pavilions of France, Holland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan (well...) and a few random others, including, provinces and regions of China and Hong Kong.

Overall it was a disappointing experience, but France, Holland, and Taiwan were the best among the ones I visited.

We will be in Shanghai in a month, hopefully the line at the Expo will be shorter still. One of my girl friends arranged a guilded afternoon tour to Expo and a dinner at the Restaurant inside EXPO park. Cost is 200 rmb per person. Not sure if we actually go into the pavilions or just looking around outside. She lives in Shanghai said it is very nice to walk around the grounds at night, the lights are wonderful.

My DS who lives in Shanghai said the same thing as your GF, the grounds and the outsides of the pavilions are nicer than the inside.
