Time Involved in Getting Visa?

I wanted to visit Greece with my wife, but as usual, the racially suspect Schengen visa process blocked us. Now we are considering visiting Asia again.

Does anyone here know how long the Vietnam visa process takes? I asked the Vietnamese immigration people, but they are no good at returning emails. My wife is a US green card holder from Africa, if that matters.

“Racially suspect Schengen”??
Anyway the only thing that matters with Vietnam is your passport/ nationality which you don’t mention. If eligible for an eVisa , the process usually take 24-72 hours. Many countries do not need a visa.

It is usually 3 to 5 business days.

Make sure you go to the official site to get your Vietnam visa. If you Goggle you get hits for lots of official looking Vietnam Visa sites

Do it as soon as you know you're going to Vietnam. The visa process is pretty quick. If you do it yourself you can get it in a few days. If you're at a travel office you can get it the same day.
