ticket agents

I am going to Manila from Chicago and I was just wondering if anyone has used side step, one travel.com, Airfare or At Associates Travel to purchase tickets and what your experience was. Thanks I am looking for something under 1,000.

Although I haven't tried the websites you mentioned, I have a few to suggest.

First of all, when are you traveling? Peak seasons are usually around your price range but depending on what airlines. Philippine Airlines tend to be more $$ since they offer direct flights to Manila.
You can start with these travel agencies..they usually have lower rate based on my experience.
The only thing is~ they are located in LA~ shouldn't have trouble mailing tickets to you though.

I was able to book a flight to Manila for January via Korean Air ($610 from Continental Travel) I suggest trying them first.
These other websites may come in handy

You should try calling different travel agents. Have them call you when they have the cheapest price. I'll be going to the Philippines in mid-June and I got a ticket for $798. In my opinion, thats a pretty good deal so try calling the travel agents!

have you thought about posting on travelocity fare watcher??

I know that Orbitz has a fare watcher as well. You type in your departure and destination and what you want to spend..it sends you an email when it reaches that price.
