Thursdaysd Goes East
 

No, not back to Asia. I'm going east across the Atlantic, and then on to Eastern Europe. I'm calling this the "B" trip - Baltics, Bulgaria, Balkans and Budapest. I'm hoping to cool off after my last trip through Asia and the brutal summer we've endured in NC. I'm currently in New York, waiting for Continental to call me back about rescheduling my flights out of Newark on Sunday.

Have a great time. This summer has been brutal here in Florida. We leave in 2 weeks for brutal heat in India!

We enjoyed Tallin, but if you can get to Riga and Vilnius - those are even more interesting. Tallin is very touristy...almost Disney-like.

It was 111 yesterday in Austin with no end in sight to the heat. India might be better!

Posting from the road didn't go so well on this trip, and I made it home while the TR still had me in Bulgaria. I wasn't feeling too good the last part of the trip, but I'm doing a bit better now, and am working on my photos and on finishing up the TR.
