Hi all.
We're in the early stages of planning a trip to southeast asia. My boyfriends wants to do water sports in Thailand like kayaking and rafting and I want to do more the luxury spa things in Bali. Does anyone have any thoughts on a itinerary that would include both and possible the best places to stop in between? We were planning on about 16-21 days in length.
Thanks and any thoughts are welcomed.

PS Welcome! I see this is your first post. When you post a new topic, make a title that is more descriptive, as you will get more and better responses . So you might have titled this Thailand or Bali?

For a person who is serious about water sports there may be pluses and minuses to each place. Thailand is, of course, a country with two long coasts and many rivers what may be available in one spot may not be in another. I'll let the Thailand experts fill you in on your best choices.
In Bali fiver rafting is common (though it's on the tame side). Sea kayaking is possible but less developed.
The most popular water sport is surfing! -- board, stand up paddle, wind, and you'll also find diving/snorkling and boating/fishing. These are best experienced in different parts of the island, so your itinerary would depend on what you want to do.
Spas are everywhere.
