Thia Air

Anybody used Thia Air from Europe, what is the legroom like, do they have seat back movies in cattle class, is the food any good etc.,

I'm guessing you mean Thai Air, but since there are new budget airlines popping up all over, I can't be certain.

If you mean Thai air. 34" seat pitch - so as good as it gets. No seat back movies just giant screen. On some of the overnight flights back to Europe they don't show any movies until 3 hours before landing which makes the flight a long one if you can't sleep. I've found food and service fine, but the aircrafts whilst they are 747-400 series I think they are the old ones.

I had another question abt Thai air, I think that I read that they have a 40 pound luggage limit? Does that sound right? Thats fine for our flight out but i know my wife is going to buy so much crap in BKK that I am worried about the flight home!

For flights not going to or coming from the USA the luggage limit is 20kg for economy, 30kg business & 40kg first. If you have star alliance silver membership add another 10kg and 20kg for gold.
