The Penninsula Hotel?
 

Greetings!
I have read lots about the Marriot in BKK vs. the ROS.....any opinions on the Penninsula? Going in October...

It's a terrific hotel! Some say it's on the "wrong side of the river" but I totally disagree with that assessment. The shuttle boat across the river runs frequently and is very quick and comfortable. If I would happen to go back to staying on the river, this is the place I would choose. I've stayed at the Pen and the Oriental. Not the ROS or the Marriott.

There must be thousands of posts about the Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok here! Use the Search box at the top of the page, and type in Peninsula Bangkok.

There are many threads comparing the Pen with the Oriental. Both are superb hotels with very different styles. Generally, people like one or the other.

penn is a step up in every way from the others

I love the Peninsula! Also like Center Pointe Silom.
