The best travel guide for visiting Chiang Mai is…?

My son will be going to visit a college friend who is living there now. He’s been, but he was four so doesn’t remember it LOL Wanted to get him a travel guide for Christmas one that’s not too old. What do you guys recommend?

He'd probably prefer one he can load onto his phone. My preference for nuts & bolts information is Lonely Planet. They have a Thailand guide, April '22. They seem to no longer have a stand-alone Northern Thailand which is where Chiang Mai used to be covered so this one may be your best bet:

Thank you I’ve always preferred moon guide books over lonely planet but they don’t seem to have anything current. I’ll check out LP
