There is an interesting video at www.nytimes.com on the correct way to wear a man's kimono. Sorry, I can't seem to get a url for just the video.

HT, I though of you - isn't it time to get a kimono?

Love the video, but I'd bet moeney he's going to have to hire someone to dress him in Kyoto! It's one of those skills that takes lots of practice!

We have various yukata we have collected thru our travels in Japan

but the only ornate kimono we have is hanging on our living room wall.

I bet kuranosuke has one like the video ;)

ht, i wish i had one, but like you, i only collect onsen yukatas.

while watching the video, i was wondering how he goes to the head. lol
