We finished planning our trip today, and we are so excited! We'll be in Cambodia Jan 14-19 (FCC in Phenom Phen,Bopha Ankor in Siem Reap)then it's off to Phuket (Old Phuket). After a few days on the beach, we'll spend 3 nights in Chiang Rai/Golden Triangle (Laluna Resort), and spend our last 5 days in Bangkok, flying back Jan 31 to NYC.
We just wanted to express our sincere thanks for all of your help; we really couldn't have planned it without you. Special thanks to James A, Gpanda, Kathie, Scotters, and KimJapan... as well as to many others.
We'll post our experiences when we get home.

Have a great time. I'll be interested to hear your opinion of the Old Phuket Hotel. Ask to look at some of the other rooms. We did and it was amusing.

I hope you have a great trip. We stayed in both Boha Angkor in Siem Reap and at the FCC in Phnom Penh. If you got one at the FCC with a river view, you won't regret it - all of Phnom Penh will pass by your window/balcony but will still quiet when close up for the night. If you didn't, hanging out looking out from the bar is good too.

Yes we are getting a river view! I'm even more excited now... :)
