Thailand weather

We plan to visit Thailand next year.
Can somebody recommend the BEST moment of the year to do it.
Any thoughts and suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

(Sorry!)

Seriously, most people and guide books seems to say Dec to February are the best/coolest months to visit Bangkok. Of course, prices are higher during this period.

Not sure when high season is for the beaches.

the best time actually is from late october until march....i went in may/june this year and that was quite nice as well....in one month only 1 1/2 days of rain...

Depends I'd say on whether you like extreme temps. Dec-Feb are oft considered best because temps are much more pleasant. IF u like VERY hot days u may prefer March onwards...

Thailand has three seasons....hot...hotter...and hottest. I prefer December...but just recently I was there in August and I think I'll do future trips in August...the hotel rates I got were lower than the December rates...and I didn't catch that much rain and I was there until Aug 31st. I've also gone the last week in March, but it can be a bit hot...but not as bad as April and May. Happy Travels!

?Thailand has three seasons....hot...hotter...and hottest.?

True for Bangkok and the south, but not for the north. Over the New Year period, overnight temperatures in Chiangmai are generally in single figures. If you go up into the hills it is possible that you will encounter sub zero temperatures overnight.

Daytime temperatures tend to be in the high teens or low twenties.
