Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia 4 week itinerary help!

Hi all!
I'm considering traveling to SE Asia for the first time this summer. I'm planing on mid July through mid August, and have already been told it's the rainy season.
I'm a complete novice when it comes to SE Asia, and would love any help with an itinerary. Is getting to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia too much for 4 weeks?
I would love some beach, some culture, some nature and maybe a bit of shopping in the end.

Also, any advice on booking cheap tickets or where to start? As of now I'm traveling alone, and flying from Tel aviv.

Thanks in advance!

Hello, August in Asia is rainy season , you can start either veitnam nor thailand , but the best way to start from Thailand to cambodia over land then to cambodia from poipet then siem reap to spend there full three days to explore ancient temple after that take bus to phnom penh spend here one day full to visit some places then heading to beach if you want to stay couple day there after back to phnom penh take bus to Vietnam hochiminch , have a nice trip

SE Asia covers a lot of territory. So the idea that it is rainy season in all of SE Asia in July and August is incorrect. It is certainly true that there are some areas you probably don't want to visit at that time, like the beaches along the Andaman Sea, there are other areas that will be fine. take a good look at www.weatherbase.com for historical weather information.

The interests you list are sufficiently general that it's hard to make any specific recommendations from them. What two or three things are your top priorities for your trip? Angkor? Beach? Shopping? Once you know your priorities, you can plan your trip around them. Best beaches are in Thailand, but there are beaches in VN and Cambodia as well; best shopping is in Bangkok.

Typically, Bangkok is the least expensive city to fly into in SE Asia, but you'll have to check what airlines are available from Tel Aviv. In my experience, it's best to book directly with your chosen airline rather than to use a general travel website like expedia or one that claims to get better price like cheapoair.

Start with guidebooks for each of the countries and get a book specifically on the Angkor Temples. I alway recommend dawn Rooney's book, Angkor: A Guide to Cambodia's Wondrous Temples.

Happy Planning!
