Thailand New Year

I was thinking about traveling to Thailand in April and I was wondering if it is difficult to travel around the New Year. Are trains, flights, and accommodations hard to come by?

No, but it's hotter than hell.

April is the hottest month in Bangkok. Yes, it's very hot, and humid. If you can stand the heat, you'll be fine. I will also be in BKK during the last half of April.

Is there any place in Thailand or Southeast Asia that is a little less hot or better place to visit in April?

I am definitely making a stop in Singapore to visit a friend, but other than that, I am open for suggestions and up for an adventure!

Thanks!

Get a driver, stay in AC hotels, restaurants, stores, malls, etc- the only way to beat the heat in April.
