I'll be there in mid to late April. Going to do Isaan for a few days, then off to Phuket/Krabi for 5. Then Bangkok for 5 more. Almost finished booking everything,

Btw, Carol, what area of IL are you in?

Mango... think Peoria area! Altho I'm not IN Peoria, just nearby. I'll be in BKK for DS's birthday party at Tawandang the last half of the month. I'm hoping for a 2-wk visit from about Apr 18 to May 4, give or take.

Up at 5 this morning... jetlag.

Jetlag is awful. I tend to feel depressed when I'm under its spell! Hope you're feeling ok..

Carol, I knew you lived far from the airport, that's why I was asking(3 hrs?!)

If you want any extra company let me know when you'll be at Tawandaeng unless I've scared everyone off with my rough criticisms!! Anyway, try exercising for relief of the jetlag, it probably will help you. Take care.

Mango.. No hotels for me. I only stay in serviced apartments now that I know that they are roomier and have a more homey feel to them. But Banyan Tree is really lovely though...

Bob, I'm not the Jr Senator... lol... not a chance of that one... I was in politics once, and have NO DESIRE to get back in! Sorry I missed this comment a few posts back. Today was really busy, and I had no time to look at fodors, so now I'm quickly reading to get caught up.

Mango, have you been to Tawandang before? It's always a good time! Brad's party is on the fodors calendar, if you are interested.
