Thailand / Cambodia Calling Card

Going to Thailand (BKK, CNX, HKT), Cambodia (REP), and Hong Kong for my honeymoon in a few days. Does anyone have a recommendation for a cheap but reliable calling card that will work in these places (to call the US)?

Preferably something I can buy online and can get immediately.

Thanks

For Thailand you can buy a sim card for your GSM phone with a call rate of 1 Baht per minute for calls to the US.

I buy that in Bangkok? Or can I buy it here in the US?

in each country buy a sim card in a phone store or in a convenience store....in thailand they cost maybe $3....you then take you sim card from home out and keep it safe for when you return home....the clerk will install the new sim card....you then need to add minutes to your phone....the clerk will do that for you....you can add them as often as you need to...

you need to do this in each country....not sure if it works in cambodia however??

Hi js 1999,
i dont think u can purchase that at home anyway, in Thailand, just go to a phone shop or a 7/11 shop, & ask for a sim card, i always use " 1 2 call" very cheap to call or message home, use 008 or 009 then country code then number. using 008\009 gets u an even cheaper rate than if u used + .
in cambodia just go a phone shop and ask for an international ph card, rates are cheap also.
both places it is easy to top up credit, go to any phoneshop\7/11 & purchase a top up card.
good luck cheers Gary
