For a 9:15 flight I would leave Ubud at 6:15 (which always ends up being 6:30). I'm conservative about airport times, though. Indonesian regularly show up minutes before flight time.

Bali airport can be somewhat chaotic. You could ask your resort to have someone accompany you through check in.

Alam Indah and Alam Jiwa are just across the road from each other. I'm not sure that you'd want to bother to move. If you want to experience a different place maybe you should consider something outside of the town of Ubud? The country side is really nice.

I guess it depends on how accustomed you are to Asian airports. At Bali airport there's always a crush around the security check and the check in. Not much of a sense of queueing up. If flights are delayed or canceled information is scant.

Alam Indah is supposed to have more of a jungle feel to it where as Alam Jiwa has views of the rice fields. I can't really find anything comparable in their respective price ranges that sounds interesting to me and the feedback on both is extremely positive.

BTW, I Dean has now replied to 2 of my emails - still nothing from Putu. Deam is now up to 550,000/day which sounds a bit outrageous, no?

Oops - hit Post instead of Preview. Pardon the grammar above.

Also, thanks for the feedback on DPS!
