Thailand Advice Please
 

We will be visiting Phuket, Krabi and Trang areas over the holidays (Dec-Jan) and are looking for a good real estate agent to show us some nice rental villas (long term) for a possible return to the area for a longer stay. Any reputable suggestions?

Also, using MacBook Air, do I need a voltage converter as well as the adapter plug? I know in Hong Kong and Macau, I may not need it, but not sure about Thailand.

No need for anything other than an adaptor for Thailand.

Check out Airbnb for villa rentals, most agents list on there anyway and just ask if they will do long term even though they are showing as holiday rents. You may have a problem getting to view as a lot are booked for xmas and new year.

Just the adaptor needed which you can get here, some places even have international sockets.

Yes, you MAY need to bring your adapter with you. I'm not sure about the voltage converter because I haven't used such on my Macbook Air before. Moreover, Thailand supports type A socket (for 2-prong adapters) which is compatible with the AC wall adapter of your Macbook Air. PFS is a little confused about voltage converters. Your MacBook Air has a voltage converter that you already use any time you use it (that white block attached to the cord is a converter). You just need to be able to plug it in, which may require an adaptor or may not depending on where you are staying.
