What is your budget for a hotel?

Hope 3 days is not your entire time in Thailand. Poor return for an expensive plane ticket if you are coming from a long distance. Even if you are just entering Thailand overland a few more days in Thailand is not expensive when you use some budget priced hotels. Is it Bangkok you need a hotel suggestion or another city?

Knowing how much per night you want to spend on a hotel room narrows down the suggestions you get. A hotel room with air, even in Bangkok, can be found starting around 600 baht. You can also find hotels at 6000 baht a night too. What amount per night do you want to spend on a hotel room?

If it is Bangkok maybe choose a hotel not far from the Skytrain (city rail service) so you can get around the city easy. Perhaps the Sukhumvit Nana area if you want to be able to walk to restaurants, malls, street vendors, supermarkets and nightlife. Many hotels in all price ranges near the Nana Skytrain stop.

In the Pratunam you have a Skytrain stop at the Asia Hotel, Ratchathewi Skytrain station, if you are more interested in wholesale shopping and less nightlife. In the Pratunam area you also have the Airport Rail Link station at Ratchaprorop. There are hotels you can walk to from that Rail Link station too.

City rail service connects Hualamphong Train Station, Ekamai bus terminal, Chatuchak, Silom, Siam, MBK, Patpong area and even Suvarnabhumi Airport, etc. (Rail service 0600 to midnight.)

Your choice.
