I am sure i will get flamed for this but i thought the (long) trip to the JT outlet was a waste of time, didn't like it one bit (although had a rather nice pad thai there). Maybe there just wasn't anything to my taste but it looked like they were selling all the stuff noone wanted (which in effect they are) personally i would go to almeta or the JT main store. However i think the weekend market is well worth a visit (go real early to beat the heat and main crowds)

Smeagol. in my many years of experience shopping at JT and the outlet, sometimes the outlet has fabulous things for great prices, at other times they don't have much I'm interested in. If they have things you want, getting those items for 50-70% off makes it a real deal. That's the risk of an outlet store of any type -the goods thay carry are quite variable.

The outlet NEVER has ANYTHING that fits gpanda or RhkKmk. Total discrimination.

Kathie Aug 11th, 2007 11:09 AM

Oh, and it's a matter of policy that they do not carry anything that fits gpanda or Rhkkmk!

Gpanda Aug 11th, 2007 11:32 AM

It's because they measure cloth by the square meter and not the square mile.
