NOTE in bangkok thier are 2 major venues. when one is open the other is clossed. I've yet too go.. I tried once but ended up at the wrong stadium..

We went to Lumpini Stadium on a Tuesday night to see it, and it was really entertaining - you don't have to be there right at 6:30, since the younger more inexperienced guys fight at the beginning.The main event takes place around 9PM, and it's a long time to sit on a hard seat! It was worth it though - check the guide books for advice about which shows to go to - some of them are "staged" for the benefit of tourists. Linda
