Thai Airways International Layover: Baggage Recheck?
I'm planning on flying Thai Airways - or another airline - from Hanoi, Vietnam to Phuket, Thailand. My concern is having an international layover in Bangkok as there are no direct flights available.
1. Will I need to go through customs in Bangkok?
2. Will I need to recheck my baggage and check in again for my 2nd leg?

If you are on Thai air for both flights, then your baggage will be transferred for you for the next flight. If one (or both) of your flights is on Air Asia, you will need to pick up your baggage, go through immigration and customs and re-check for your next flight.
