tea tree in south east asia

Hi everyone,
I know this is a very weird question, but is it possible to find pure tea tree oil in South East Asia? Preferrably organic.. I know Australia produces tons of it.
As I'll be travelling there for several months and I need it, I'm not sure if it would be better to get loads of it here in Europe.

Does anyone have a clue?

Thanks

Ioli

SE Asia is of course a large area, but in my experience living and traveling in much of it, you should be able to find tee tree oil rather easily. It may not be organic, other than in larger cities where there is more demand for organic prodcuts.

I didnt see tee tree when I was there, but I did see loads of Boots chemists, which has all the products from UK and other western products. You could try them or go try a pharmacy.

Otherwise, best get it from home. If you're from UK, Superdrug has pure tee tree oil, in a little bottle and fairly cheap.

It's available in Bangkok but I've not seen it elsewhere and I try to keep an eye out for it. I live in Siem Reap and bring loads of it back every time I go back to the US. It's good for one million things.

Hi Evanseven

I bring it to Siem Reap from the US, I've never seen it here. If you're in SR, suggest you get on the expats FB page and ask if anyone is sitting on a stock of it and would sell you a bottle. If that doesn't work I'l have my next visitor bring an extra bottle for you as I'll be stocking up when they get here in April.

if you need to reach me, you can use the contact form at www.theplf.org, and the msg will come directly to me.
