taxis from CM to FS

Does anyone know roughly what it costs to take a taxi from the airport in CM to the Four Seasons? The hotel's transfers are quite expensive so would like to avoid that charge if possible. Do the drivers use the meters? Thanks

Taking a taxi will be MUCH less than the hotels' transfers. I don't know the price, as I haven't done that taxi ride. My experience in CM a year ago was that drivers seem to have only recently gotten meters, and are reluctant to use them. However, the drivers all seemed to have standard fares. From the airport, you'll have a taxi stand to help you with the usual fare if you are doubtful.

A taxi will probably be a lot cheaper but it's far away so it will be expensive.

The taxi will be a/c though, right? I'm sure it will cost less than $64!

Yes, all the taxis are a/c. Yes, I'm sure it will cost less than $64!

something about this is odd....you are staying at the 4 seasons and you are worried about the price of the ride to get there.....??? sorry had to say it...

You're right-it's just that I don't know the distance to the hotel and $64 seemed awfully high for just a transfer for one person.
