taxi recommendations in Bali

We are travelling to Bali in the first week of October and need to hire a cab for a full days during out stay. Any recommendations? We will be staying at Seminyak and read that the transport options from the airport are not very reliable. How much would it cost approx. for a day trip to Ubud and uluwatu? Any guidance would be helpful.

If I were to go back to Bali and wanted a car & driver then I would contact Putu Arnawa to see if he is still in the business.
