Not holding my breath on this one, but any advice re how many days to spend in Tashkent? How much is there to see, museums etc. And any other comments welcome too. Thanks.

That TR here is great! I hadn't seen it. Have noted the B&B they stayed in Tashkent... sounds a possible for my extra days. It all sounds much more Soviet than I expected. Will have to remember to carry my passport about and be careful of money exchange forms. Quite takes me back to the old days in Russia in the 70s.
