Taiwan weather in March??

Is March a good time to travel to Taiwan? What temperatures can I expect?

We were there this past March for 3 days and the weather was warm like in the 60's. One of the days it was in the 70's and we were wearing short sleeves. You should be fine with a thin jacket to go over short sleeve shirt.

Also, bring light-rain gear. The spring showers could be a pain.

It depends on where you go, in the south,it could be quite hot,up to high 80s. It does rain a lot in Taipei in March.

We were in Taipei last March and it was comfortable. Some days I even wore a light sweater or light jacket. The main thing is that you should expect it to rain often. My fiancee's family was telling us to cover our heads with an umbrella or hood too- because of acid rain apparantly.

It was comfortable- not the balmy heat you would get the in the summer, and not too chilly either.

Just this past December, we rarely needed more than a light jacket in Taipei...in Kaosiung and Tainan and Taitung, it was downright hot.

March is the perfect time, might have little drizzle but at least not humid like it is 85% of the year
