Sushi in BKK?

Your recommendations on a GOOD sushi bar in BKK, please. Most likely we will be staying in the Ploenchit area.

Thanks, once again.

You're in luck. Thais don't much like 'foreign' foods, but they love Japanese cuisine. There are several chains that do good food, such as Oishi, Fuji and Otoyo. You can get sushi at any of them.

In the Ploenchit area, your best bet might be to head down to Siam Paragon, which has a ton of Japanese restaurants to choose from.

we ate at the fuji in hua hin and it was fabulous and very reasonable...

in the past i have stayed away from uncooked items in thailand, but i could not resist this fresh looking stuff...

The sushi restaurant at the JW Marriot on Sukhumwit is excellent, probably the best in BKK. The chains such as Fuji etc do not compare at all.
Enjoy!
