Suggestions for Hangzhou?

We will be spending two days in Hangzhou. Please reply to this post with your top ten list for things to see and do in Hangzhou.

Thanks!

Hello, YJ, welcome to the Fodors Forum.

I see you just joined today and asked three questions, including the much reviled "top ten" list.

Take a look at this - it will help you make the most of this (and other) travel boards.

I see that even in an informal travel forum one can't escape the 'much reviled' Miss Manners.

Please pick what you want to do.

Half day: West lake cruise & Huagang Park.
Half day: Ling Ying temple
Half day: Six harmonies Pagoda
Half day: Old Huqingyu traditional Chinese medicine Store + a replica ancient shopping street nearby
Half day: Tea plantation in Mei Jia Su
Half day: Silk museum at Jade Spring

Evening entertainment: Impression Hangzhou in Westlake, similar to Sanjie Liu show in Yangshuo, directed by the same Zhang Yi Mao team.

Hangzhou cuisine: Beggars chicken & Baby shrimps with Longcheng tea are okay, Dongbor Pork is half lean half fat meat, west lake fish has too many little bones.

One of the best time to see Westlake is the second half of August when lotus blossom.

Mei Jia Su should be Mei Jia Wu, this "Wu" means hilly area in Chinese.
