Suan Lum Night Bazaar Closure
 

Hi, can anyone tell me if Suan Lum is still operating?? We will be visiting at the end of May and would love to go.

We were at the Market last weekend and it was still going strong. We saw no indication of an imminent closing. The beer garden area was packed and there were lots of taxis coming and going.

According to this article, was supposed supposed to be vacated by 31 March. But seems like it could still be a while. Exactly when don't think anyone knows.
Would be a pity to replace this market with another mall.

i agree we went to this market in November last year, on my 3rd visit to Thailand and we loved it and wished i had made it there the previous times. it would definately be a destination in BKK next time we are there. As you say it would be a shame for this to be torn down for yet another mall... like BKK needs another one!

I really hope it is still open when we get there. It is my 6th trip to Bangkok and I still haven't made it to the night bazaar yet!! I hope I don't miss out.
