Studo Ghibli Tokyo

Hi, I'm going to Japan on this January/February, and I will spend 5 days in Tokyo. I would like to know if it's worth visiting the Studio Ghibli Museum. I like their animes, but I'm not sure if it's an interesting place or a waste of time. I would appreciate any comments of anyone who now the place.

Thanks!

My husband wants to go there on our trip in April. I'd also like to know if it's worth the effort/time/money. Thanks!

If anime is of interest to you, and you like Miyazaki's work, then I think you should, especially since you are going to be right there in Tokyo.

You need reservations and should book your tickets now. You can do it online.

I am fairly sure, based on past threads, that it is worth it. Search this forum and you should find some posts by emd that describe the place and the best time/way to get tickets and go there.

I was going to suggest searching for emd's reports, but mrwunrfl beat me to it. My 15 y/o daughter loves Miyazaki's work, has reviewed all the info about the museum, and declared it a must for our trip in March.
