Stranded
Hello,
visiting overseas and got robbed, my ticket is gone and money what do I do? Have no contacts back in usa. Thanks for any real help. God Bless Rhondel |
If this is a serious post then first thing contact your Embassy, simple.
If you can tell people 'wehre you are' then people can give you the details or suggestions. You have posted on Europe and USA forums too so it is a little confusing. Contact your embassy. |
|
Contact your embassy (if your passport was stolen), airline (to report stolen ticket) and credit card companies.
|
Your first posts on a forum and its a 911.
You just got robbed and you decided to ask complete strangers on the internet for help and not the local authorities? How stupid do you think we are? You must have a lot of time on your hands. God Bless! |
oh yeah...I forgot, schools out for the summer
|
peter....you made me laugh..
God bless.... |
Hm, this poster posted in both the Europe and Asia forum. [Also the US forum, but clearly that's not where he is.]
If he's in the Ural mountains, closest US Embassy may be quite far away or hard to get to. Closest one may be Yekaterinburg to the east. But down in the Caucasus, US have embassies in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. And of course, if he's around Istanbul, it won't really be a problem. |
rhkkmk,
I think I'll use it from now on....it seems to sanitize my rudeness, lol Aloha! |
Well, to be fair, at least the OP didn't ask us to send money. Of course, HT, I'm sure if you wanted to contribute it would be much appreciated ;-)

Does Gpanda charge a penalty to robbery victims?

laurieco,
Hey where have you been? Ready for another night of sake?, lol Are you getting ready for Australia yet? Aloha! |
