Stopover in China
 

I have the opportunity to make a stopover in China on my way to Japan. Have never been to China. Should I choose Hong Kong or Beijing?

You haven't mentioned here or on your other thread how long the stopover would be. With 3 full days I would suggest Beijing because you can visit a few major sites in the city and make a day trip out to a major bucket-list item for many people - the Great Wall.

Depends on your interests. Check the main attractions in these two cities and see what excites you.

Such different cities! I agree that you should do some research to decide which most interests you.

I would choose Beijing!
