Sri Lanka Trip, Need Help!

I'm planning a trip to Sri Lanka and while the beaches are definitely a draw, I'm also interested in experiencing the country's rich history and stunning natural beauty. I've been reading about ancient cities like Anuradhapura and Sigiriya, and the lush hill stations like Nuwara Eliya.

Sri Lanka offers an incredible mix of beaches, ancient history, and breath taking natural beauty. For a historical journey, Anuradhapura and Sigiriya are must visits, Anuradhapura is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, while Sigiriya's rock fortress offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient engineering and art.

If you’re looking for natural beauty, Nuwara Eliya in the hill country is known for its cool climate, tea plantations, and stunning landscapes. You might also consider Ella, with its scenic train rides and picturesque viewpoints, or Horton Plains National Park for unique hikes with dramatic vistas.

The beaches along the south and west coasts—like Mirissa, Unawatuna, and Hikkaduwa; are perfect for relaxation, snorkelling, and whale watching. A well-rounded trip through Sri Lanka can seamlessly combine these experiences, offering the best of history, culture, and natural beauty.
