Can anyone provide some info re current state of flooding.
We are due to arrive at Habarana on Saturday. It's looking pretty grim to me.

It might be wise to start thinking of second options in the South, South West and West Coasts. The worst of the Greed Season is over - you'll have alternatives. Polonnaruwa is under water, according to CNN.

I'm really sorry to hear about this. There was flooding when I was there, but you could still visit the Cultural Triangle sites - you just got a bit damp. So sorry for the folks who were just drying out after the first go-round.

Oh, it does look bad. Leigh, who has booked your trip for you? I'd consult with them about itinerary changes. Sometimes even just reversing a route can make the difference.
