Areyou thinking of self drive? Would strongly suggest going for car with chauffer - roads are quite terrible and small distances take longer than you would imagine

With the greatest respect, I strongly advise against self drive in Sri Lanka, unless you have some experience of driving there. Certainly, if you are considering touring.
Maybe someone who has done it will correct me and say otherwise, but this sixty year old, with many years experience of London driving, and much of Europe, would be very reluctant to take on the roads of Sri Lanka.

I just came back from Sri Lanka and was really shocked at how crazy the traffic is! You will have to watch the road like a hawk and swerve constantly to avoid oncoming speeding traffic. I mostly only took taxis around Colombo and Kandy but I found it very stressful even just watching the driver!
