Hi,
Well,to hire a minibus you can get some information from the hotel you stay. Also
there are so many companies advertising on the Yellow pagers.Hire a bus with a driver .It is a mad place to drive.
Enjoy the stay.

We booked a car and driver from Pan Lanka Travels & Tours via their website panlanka.com. We specified an itinerary, they provided a quote, and everything went smoothly from there. We were very pleased with the service we received - I don't know whether they have mini-buses, but it's worth a try.

We just got back from a wonderful tour in Sri Lanka. We have toured in a minibus with driver / certified guide and have seen all the highlights in 6 days (abt.1000 km). We hired our minibus (through our Belgian touroperator) from Andrews Travel Service in Colombo and were very satisfied with their services. I'm sure they can arrange hotel accomodation for you as well. A nice colonial style hotel in Colombo is the Galle Face hotel at the seaside (no beach however).
For info the e-mail address of Andrews Travel is [email protected]
