It's very easy to get there by Sky Train as the Shangrila is right next to a stop, and Face Spa is near a stop too. We had a 2-hour package for $45 that was quite relaxing: a foot massage, a body scrub, and a Thai massage. The setting is lovely. We then had dinner in their Thai restaurant. Everything was very good but the salad with beef.

The Face spa is lovely. We had two hour treatments twice once the morning after we arrived in Bangkok and again before we left after three weeks in Asia. It's a nice, Thai spa experience. I've also used the Mandara Spa at the Royal Orchid Sheraton, which is lovely, but twice the price, and much more of an "international" luxury spa experience.
