Ok so Im finally getting some things taken care of.
Staying in Bangkok 24th-28 at the Royal Hotel
Chiang Mai 29-2 Baan Orapin
South 3-9
bangkok 10-11th.

So my question...what beach should I go to in South Thailand. Im looking for beauty and some cool people to meet since I'll be alone. I am in my 30's , so not looking for the young crazy part scene. Allthough dont get me wrong, I like to pary and have fun...just as long as Im not the oldest. HAHAHA

BTW does anyone know where the new airport is? Is it close to the old one, someone told me it was not.

Which month ? Due to different weather the suggestions of best beach areas would differ with time of year. New BKK airport is long way from the old Don Muang one, new one due to open 28th Sept.

Phi Phi?? Maybe Kata or Karon??
I want to be able to meet people since Im by myself but dont want all the craziness of Patong.

Kata is nice, better than karon, also consider Ao Nang or Railay at Krabi.

Try some of the quiter beaches on Phuket such as kata, not too quiet, always bars and restaurants around, if you want more scenic then Krabi, more tropical island style Phi Phi. That is busy season.
