South Chaweng beach Hotel Recommendations?
Would like to find a hotel on the beach that will have rooms to accomodate 3 adults. Budget $200-$250. I'd even consider going up to $300 if it's fantastic.

Look at booking.com
You might want an apartment. Ive stayed at north Chaweng. Nice spot. South is busy. http://www.coralbay.net/superior_family.htm They have family bungalows. |
Thanks for the tip. I'd thought South had nicer beaches?
I'm looking for a place that's right on a really nice beach. I'd also be open to Ko Pha Ngan. |
Beach is nice from north to south Chaweng. Chaweng is the busiest part of island. Its hectic.
Ko pha ngan has tacky fmps but other areas quiet. Depends what you want to do. Samui has more tours and activities. KPN is a bit dull apart from moon parties. Oct to Dec is rainy season on these islands. The following resort is on silver beach/thongtakian which is good. http://www.booking.com/hotel/th/prom...81c73cb;dcid=4 |

This resort is on a good beach. Different area over at Krabi. |
I've narrowed it down to Crystal Bay, Cinnamon Beach or Renaissance. (I threw the Renaissance in there because I may be able to use points.) Any experience with those hotels?
Are the beaches really nice for those properties? Not next to the lagoon washoff? :( |
Look at reviews. You can always book 2 nights to start then extend or move.

I would suggest you hire a jeep and explore the island.
