Sometahing is wrong
We are in one of the most expensive hotels in the world (park hyatt Tokyo), it is a beautiful afternoon and we are sitting in the hotel--me on the computer; Karen and Linda playing cards; and peter taking a nap.
Do you find anything wrong with this picture? |
Yes - Get off the computer and go find some sushi :-)
Go to the bar and have a glass of champagne!
Or go to the exercise room at the Park Hyatt, as Bill Murray did in "Lost in Translation":

When did yo arrive? I don't find anything wrong, IF your bodies and minds are screaming "We need rest!"
You are obviously getting your money's worth out of the Park Hyatt! The room must be very comfortable to keep you indoors relaxing - and what is wrong with that? Especially if it's at the start of the trip and you need a restorative period of just .....sitting. Or even if it's mid-trip or at the end of the trip - downtime is important and if you've splurged on a hotel like the ParkHyatt - why not enjoy it. Good for you!
Might as well get your money's worth. That's why Mike and I stay at inferior hotels. Makes us get our butts out and see the town!
I guess you will be staying at the Aman next time
We just went to an event at the Kennedy Library in Boston hosted by just returned former US Ambassador to Japan, Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg. I am thinking that this means that YOU and KAREN are -- or should be -- our new administration's ambassadors!
Bob ( I am now WMPT formerly Billt) hope you have a great time there. When I was in Tokyo we looked all over for Shrimp Tempura but could not find any and as such we ate Chinese every day.
Surely you are not still in your room!
In a new room in Seattle.
Shall I tell you about the $88. filet? Meat only.
Kobe I hope?
No, grass fed American beef, which we prefer.
